Live: Running for Weight Loss? Observations & Considerations for Vegan Athletes

Weight Loss for Vegan Athletes?

Dropping pounds sucks! In fact, dropping any amount of weight at all is absolutely monumental. If you agree, you are in the right place!

Are you a health conscious runner who counts macros, watches your saturated fats, and obsesses about your protein intake? Do you understand that you cannot outrun a bad diet even as a vegan athlete? Are you seeking to drop some pounds using running as your primary form of cardiovascular activity to burn calories? Have you frequency hit a weight loss wall and have no idea how to navigate around it? If so, this livestream is dedicated to you.

Weight loss (kilos or stones) is really difficult. Keeping the weight off is even more difficult, even for long distance runners and vegan athletes. In my own experience, the only time I have successfully dropped significant weight running is when I am marathon training – It came down to the distances. Diet was only secondary. It today’s livestream, I review several observations from my own weight loss ups and downs as a vegan athlete. I also suggest a few approaches to consider if your goal is to lose weight and keep it off.
