It is important that we normalize sobriety as a positive and meaningful lifestyle choice. There are a multitude of reasons for getting sober. It may be the result of a life threatening addiction. However, it is important to not start with that assumption. We should stop making sobriety weird. You may want to improve your gut health. You may want to decrease your risk of cancer. You may want greater mental clarity. You may also want deeper and more meaningful connections with others.
