Mastering the Fitness Streak
A fitness streak is a wellness challenge focusing on physical activity designed to keep you moving. In short, it gets you off the couch and away from the cubicle. In today’s livestream, I review my own fitness streak challenge that I started a week ago. I provide a framework for how to create rules that will keep you accountable. Finally, when motivation falls apart, I provide some tricks that is sure to propel you forward. Join me today to share your own experience.

- Made all 8 days with the following rules:
- At least 2k per activity.
- Record each activity with wearable.
- Added – Close all my rights (800/30/12)
- Focused on active recovery.
- Metrics:
- Daily activity?
- Closed all three rings?
- Observations (Data not including rings):
- Total exercise time was 4h 18m
- Total steps qd – 59k
- Total walk and run workout distance – 25.25
- Total flights climbed – 99
- Total workout energy burned – 2596
- Made all 8 days with the following rules:
- Creating a Plan:
- Make the commitment.
- Mark on your calendar.
- Implement challenging days with active recovery days.
- Sticking Too It and advice:
- Maximize on accountability (Rings with Friends), going public on SM.
- Celebrate your success.
- Go as long as you can – But set a timeframe if it helps.
- Advice: You are going to feel hungry – Don’t cave to the temptation to over compensate.
